Will AirCover cover all damages to my property by Airbnb guests?

Host damage protection, part of AirCover, provides Hosts (homeowners) with US$3 million in coverage in the rare event a property or belongings are damaged by a guest during an Airbnb stay. Hosts can be reimbursed for certain damage caused by guests to their homes and belongings if the guest doesn't pay for the damage.

Something to keep in mind, Airbnb’s Host Damage Protection may not cover all damages that occur and we strongly recommend having short-term rental insurance in the event something happens. Airbnb’s policy also doesn’t cover loss of currency, normal wear and tear and losses incurred due to acts of nature (like bushfires and cyclones).

To involve Airbnb Support in an AirCover for Hosts request, supporting documentation of the damage must be submitted within 30 days of the damage or loss. This will be submitted by Hometime on your behalf.
