Homeowner's do not pay for cleaning at their property. This is a fee that is charged to and paid for by the guest.
On your Hometime monthly statement, the 'Reservation Value' is the payment that Hometime received from the booking platform for a respective booking. This figure includes the cleaning fee which the guest has paid for as part of their booking, in addition to the nightly rate.
To ensure transparency with our homeowners, we display the cleaning fee as a deduction on your statement from the Reservation Value so it is easier to understand the flow of fees from the booking platform payment to your Net Revenue.
Please be assured that it is the guest who pays for the cleaning of the property. Homeowners do not pay the cleaning fee, unless a separate structure has been arranged between you and your Hosting Partner.
