The official booking platforms that Hometime list our properties on is Airbnb, booking.com, VRBO and Hometime's Direct Booking System (DBS). But as you'll read below - your property can still get advertised and promoted on other sites.
VRBO has an 'Expanded Distribution Network' that we leverage. The Expanded Distribution Network essentially means that listings on VRBO can (not guaranteed) get promoted and advertised on other platforms such as Expedia, Trivago, Kayak etc.
We don't have visibility on if your listing gets promoted on these sites or not, it is up to their algorithms - but when we receive a booking from one of these other platforms it is routed back through VRBO. So it will display in your Hometime Portal as a VRBO booking, even if the guest may have booked on Trivago/Kayak/Expedia etc.
Here is some further information on this:

VRBO also owns Stayz so when we list your property directly with VRBO, it gets promoted and is available to be booked on Stayz. But again it routes back to Hometime as a VRBO booking.
This cross-marketing of listings is quite common amongst the different booking platform companies. Booking.com also promote their listings on other affiliated booking websites as well.
Here is some information on that if you're interested as well:
This means that although we only officially list on 4 booking sites, your property can be promoted across numerous booking sites that are affiliated with the partner distribution networks of booking.com and VRBO
